In the first half, Sexuality for All Abilities offers tools for partnering with parents, an overview of common roadbloacks, and provides real-world examples. The second section explains how to carry out a successful sex ed program and addresses challenges that may arise in special education classrooms.

The book is a collaboration between Katie Thune, a teacher who has worked with adults and children with disabilities for more than 20 years, and Molly Gage, who earned an MA and PhD in English from the University of Minnesota.
