Oliver David, a man living with cerebral palsy in Australia, made his debut as an adult performer in the erotic film “Into-You-I-See-Me,” which shows an interabled couple having sex.
The intimate interabled sex scene with adult performer Rachel Rose has screened at the San Francisco PornFilmFestival, the Seattle Erotic Cinema Society Festival, and won the “Most Loved” Film Award at the 2022 Erotica Film Festival in Australia. The award-winning film is also available to stream online at PinkLabel.TV, with sales benefiting Oliver.
At DisabledSexGuide.com, we had the wonderful opportunity to interview Oliver David about the film and learn more about his insights on sex and disability.
On why he made the erotic film
“My main motivation behind making the film was from my own experience of feeling largely desexualised or infantilised around my sexuality due to my disability of cerebral palsy.
“Through the film, I desire to change the standard narrative around sexuality and disability that almost precludes people with disabilities from being good lovers to people without disabilities and are incapable of navigating the full human experience that is intense sexual love. From my own experience of being in sexual relationships, my disability has soon become a non-issue between us and it was important to show this on screen.”
On challenging stereotypes on sex and disability
“Australia, in particular, has a long way to go in overcoming stereotypes and misconceptions around disability and I wanted to depict an intimate portrayal of an interabled couple where firstly, the disability was not the focus but also where the disabled person was in full autonomy and equality, capable of deep connection, sensuality and of both giving and receiving pleasure.
“As a cis-gendered male who identifies as straight, I have also often felt left out of conversations around sex, pleasure and disability as a lot of these conversations are had from the queer perspective, so I desired to make the film to have a platform where I could share my own voice from my experience.”

On filming disabled sex scenes in the future
“It is my intent to make more content to highlight other aspects of sex, love and relating where people with disabilities are often ostracised and to give people with all abilities the chance to reflect on their deeply engrained beliefs around sexual preferences, desires and values.”
